New Bedford High's Athletic Hall of Fame inducted its Class of 2023 on Saturday night during a ceremony at the Century House. Here's a look at the new members along with the special recognition honoree: CELESTE E. BAPTISTE LeBOEUF (1962) When LeBoeuf came to New Bedford High, there was little promotion of female sports, but that quickly changed and she stood on the edge of the transformation. She was a three-sport athlete her entire high school career, playing basketball, volleyball and softball.
