A group of mothers came together in Bedford to help put a stop to gun violence as Wednesday marked the first anniversary of the Uvalde school shooting in Texas.  The mothers say they know they can't write legislation or hash it out with gang members but they can help harness the energy of their community to effect change. Together they helped raise over $50,000 to Moms Demand Action , an organization aimed at stopping gun violence.  New York Deputy Chapter Leader Barry Graubart says in the last five years, New York has passed more than 30 good gun laws and has seen the fourth lowest rate of gun violence in the country.
